Our bottle shop is different from the normal. The warm and inviting atmosphere was designed with seating to foster long talks and showcase, and inspire, creativity while drinking a great beer.

This bar is also your everyday shop. Sip a pint from our 21 taps while shopping the ginormous selection of the 1000 different craft beers for carryout and wait for your filling growler.

About The Monk

The Bearded Monk is Denton’s first, craft beer only, bottle shop and growler fill bar. Located on McKinney St, at the north side of Downtown Denton’s Craft Beer District, The Bearded Monk is the place to have a beer or two while shopping for that perfect craft beer for your party or picnic. We’re located just north of Denton’s Historic Courthouse Museum in the beautiful Downtown Square and just south of The Civic Center, Arts & Jazz Fest location. The Bearded Monk is situated in the perfect place to grab a growler or a 6 pack and head out to enjoy some of the best areas of Denton.
